Hello! I’m Anna Keene. I founded Keen Living to give you the tools and knowledge you need to make buildings better. I collaborate with partners who value comprehensive analysis and meaningful outcomes.
After graduating from the University of Alabama’s New College (roll tide), I worked for non-profit organizations, specializing in education, outreach, and development. When the Deepwater Horizon Oil Disaster struck the Gulf Coast in 2010, my focus shifted to energy efficiency.
In 2011, I became an HERS rater for a local construction company. We inspected new and existing homes, created work scopes for contractors, and checked quality of work. Energy audits evolved to include broader issues like moisture control, water efficiency, and hurricane resilience. All of these things are connected.
I started this company in 2017 to meet the unique needs of quality-driven innovators throughout the region.
Continuing education and trends analysis are key aspects of my professional approach. I’m a RESNET HERS Rater, NGBS Verifier, and a Fortified Home Evaluator. Let’s discuss how we can make your building better.
